Choosing the Right Finish for Your Property
Project photographs are useful for inspiration, but the best surface still depends on the property, existing ground conditions, drainage, access and how the area will be used. A driveway carrying vehicles has different demands from a rear patio or decorative garden path, so preparation and specification should be considered before colour or pattern alone.
Driveways
Compare pattern-imprinted concrete, resin, tarmac and block paving/refurbishment. Ground preparation, vehicle loading, drainage and thresholds all influence the right option.
Patios & Gardens
For patios and outdoor living areas, start with patios and slabbing and landscaping and fencing. Consider furniture space, walking routes, garden levels, fencing, steps and how the finished area connects to the house.
Existing Surfaces
Replacement is not always the first option. Depending on condition, cleaning and maintenance or refurbishment may be appropriate. Existing cracks, movement, drainage and previous coatings should be assessed before deciding.
From Inspiration to a Proper Project Plan
If you see a finish you like, the next step is to compare it with your own property rather than trying to copy a photograph exactly. Useful information includes the approximate area, number of vehicles, access width, existing surface, drainage points, garage or door thresholds and any connected landscaping work.

Project & Portfolio FAQs
Are all photographs on this page genuine Stamp Stone work?
The featured project pages use genuine Stamp Stone project photography. Where an image is shown only as a related example rather than the exact same project, we label it clearly.
Can I ask for a similar finish to one shown here?
Yes. Send us the project link or screenshot together with photographs of your own property. We can then discuss which elements may suit your site, subject to levels, drainage, access, ground conditions and intended use.
Do you provide before-and-after comparisons?
We add before-and-after comparisons only when both photographs are verified as the same project. We do not create or imply false transformation pairs.
What should I send when asking for a quote?
Your postcode, clear photographs, approximate measurements and a short description of the required work are the most useful starting points. Use the contact and quote page to send the details.
Planning your own project?
Send your postcode, clear photographs and approximate measurements and we can discuss suitable options and the next step.
